CERTALDO
Certaldo is a perfectly intact medieval town, with streets, alleys and squares where tower buildings and historical building raise, nowadays used as museums, craftwork shops, exhibitions of contemporary art. Certaldo gives the tourist the opportunity to have a complete visit of the town and of the typical buildings, from here the definition of “open-air museum”: such as the birth place and gravestone of Boccaccio, author of the Decameron.

VAL D'ELSA
Val d’Elsa is placed in a strategic point, near Siena, Florence and Volterra. The development of this area in the past was due to the fact of being an important crossroads of the via Francigena, therefore the main arterial of Tuscany.
This is the area where many of the bloodiest battles between Florence and Siena had been fought, and here is where it is possible to admire monuments and towns untouched by time.

VOLTERRA
The Town of Volterra and it’s surroundings are, perhaps, one of the most diversified realities and attractive places in Tuscany.
